In the fall of 2022, Hannah was cast in Crane River Theater's production of "The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Nighttime" (directed by Steve Barth) as Voice One, a role that consists of multiple characters. In this role, she had the privilege of working on different kinds of British accents, ages of voices, and how to express different people both visually and auditorily, since she couldn't rely as much on costumes and makeup to do that for her.
She and her sister, Rebekah Petersen, also had the opportunity to be the movement directors for this show, as many scenes require intricate choreographed movement. As there were barely any stage directions in how the actors were supposed to move within scenes, the Petersen Sisters were able to take a lot of creative liberties with the choreography and how it worked with the text.
