In the summer of 2021, Hannah Petersen got involved with Crane River Theater in their 2021 Summer Season as a stagehand for their production of "Cinderella" (directed by Corbin Williams), but was then was hired to ASM and swing the ensemble tracks for "Mamma Mia" (directed and choreographed by Bernard Monroe). She was utilized in rehearsals for members who were out sick (for both skirt and pants roles), which meant she had to learn all the choreography that all the ensemble members did. During the run of the show, she ended up going on for pants roles, twice because of illness (pre and mid-show) and once because an actor was out of town for a week. This was one of the most rewarding experiences for Hannah, because it forced her to pick up tracks, choreography, and music on the fly.
